Large Format Prismatic Rechargeable Lithium ion cells

Planar’s large format prismatic, or PowerBlade® AX, cells are thin, lightweight and safe, and incorporate Planar’s bondable separator technology. These batteries provide 15-20-30Ah in both high energy and power materials. These laminated cells are also available in customized curved shapes. Planar started shipping sample volumes of the large format prismatic, PowerBlade® AX, cells in Q4 of 2008. The chart below outlines Planar’s proposed prismatic, large format cells.
